In accordance with 2.G. Posting of Proposals and Ranking within RFP Number 10-SFRDC, the ranking of responses to the RFP listed below are now posted at the FAAST, Inc. headquarters and on FAAST's website at http://www.faast.org/ by rank order.  The University of Miami was selected by the RFP Scoring Committee dependent on successful contract negotiations.  This notice in accordance with the RFP is posted on Monday, November 30, 2009, at 4:00 pm and will remain posted for 72 hours (3 working days).

FAAST South Florida Regional Demonstration Center Project

In accordance with Section 4: PROPOSAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS & DEADLINES regarding Request For Proposal (RFP) for the FAAST South Florida Regional Demonstration Center Project, RFP #10-SFRDC, responses to questions from prospective applicants were posted the week of October 5, 2009

Questions Regarding the RFP Process and Responses

1. We are a for-profit entity and would like to know if we are eligible to apply to this RFP?

ANSWER:
The official RFP notice states the following: "Disability organizations, not-for-profit and for-profit agencies, universities, community colleges, and other interested parties may submit proposals in response to this RFP. "

2. If not, could we use our center to host a non-profit organization to provide these services?

ANSWER: 
Section 1C, of the RFP describes the scope of work and states the following:The FAAST South Florida RDC will provide regional services in Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, Lee, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties where children and adults with disabilities and their families can have access to receive assistive technology consultations, technical assistance and individualized assistive technology instruction.
