What is the New Horizon Loan Program?
The New Horizon Loan Program offers loans for the purchase of assistive technology starting at $300 up to $25,000. We also offer business loans up to $20,000. Our loans have reasonable, below market interest rates and terms. However, if your loan is over $30,000, please still apply. We may have alternative programs in which to assist you.
How can these Financial loans be used?
Loans can be used for all types of assistive technology devices and to purchase equipment for starting and/or maintaining a business.
How does my credit history affect my chances of receiving a loan?
Credit history does not disqualify you for a loan. If you are lacking a credit history or have a poor credit history, we will evaluate your situation on a case by case basis. A credit evaluation and debt to income check will be made, so if issues to present themselves, we may seek an additional signer to strengthen your application.

Device Loans are a no Cost “Try Before You Buy” option to give you a chance to see if a particular AT Device will fit your needs.
Training is another NO Cost service offered by FAAST. We provide Training on Assistive Technology Devices and Services, Transition, Funding, IT, and Other important topics.
We offer Financing for a number of Assistive Technology Devices, Vehicle Modifications, Home Modifications, and business-related purchases to be able to continue to do business after a disabling condition.
Device Exchange & Refurbishment
We accept all donated assistive devices all year round to refurbish, sanitize, and offer to Floridians in need.
