The Phonak Roger Pen is a wireless transmitter in shape of a pen that is easy and discreet to operate with microphone settings automatically adjust to noise levels around you. The Roger Pen is designed to better enhance speech. The Roger Pen has been scientifically proven to help hearing instrument users understand up to 62% more speech in noise and over distance than people without hearing loss.
The Phonak Roger Pen is used with the miniature Roger MyLink Receiver which can be connected directly to hearing aids or cochlear implants. Roger MyLink is a universal neckloop receiver compatible with any hearing aid or cochlear implant with a T-coil. Also, people who do not wear hearing aids can use Roger MyLink Receiver with headphones instead.
The Phonak Roger Pen can transmit the sound of multimedia devices e.g. TV and has wideband Bluetooth for cellphone calls. There is a range of up to 10 meters/ 32 feet between the Roger Pen and the Roger Receiver . Once fully charged, Roger MyLink can be used for 10 or more hours. Hang Roger MyLink neckloop around your neck
Turn Roger MyLink on
Turn on Roger Pen
Switch your hearing aids to the T-Coil program
(It may be necessary to contact your hearing care professional to enable the T-Coil program in your hearing aids.)
Connect Roger MyLink to Roger Pen
